Stop The Madness!

My friends are dropping like flies!

I just want to scream this out loud. Stop the madness! Please.

Every time I get online there’s a new post about someone I know who is having health issues. Someone I know had to be airlifted to the hospital because of heart issues. Another friend was just diagnosed with Fibromyagia (I actually know several!). Someone else has been battling debilitating migraines and lost her job. Someone else has chronic fatigue and no energy. Another friend is having a really hard time losing weight even though she’s doing “all the right things.” Someone else was just diagnosed with diabetes. Someone else is struggling with chronic pain and no doctor has been able to figure out why. The list goes on…

Here’s the thing: WE have the power to stop this! YOU have the power to stop this from happening to you! You have choices every day that can make a difference in whether or not you’re diagnosed with a health condition, or how to handle it if you do have one. It’s as simple, and as complicated, as what you put in your mouth.

You literally have the power to turn your genes on and off by what you eat. Science is evolving and finding out some pretty miraculous things about our genes and how we have so much more control than it was originally thought.

But we live in a society where being “busy” is the new normal. We’ve become so busy we don’t think about caring for ourselves. And that has to stop. The only constants in life are that none of us get out alive, and you are the only one who will be with yourself for your entire life. Why not take care of your body? You can’t be of service to anyone if you don’t take care of yourself first. I’ve learned that the hard way.

Take my own story for example: My heaviest weight was 233 pounds, and I got down to 145 by doing it myself. I was on top of the world and in the best shape of my life when I had a very minor meniscus repair surgery. Shortly after that, my right hip started hurting. I went from exercising 6 days a week for an hour a day, to being able to do nothing. I gained 30 pounds, then finally lost it again. But the hip issues persisted, and I ended up having to get both hips replaced last year. I gained those 30 pounds back, and am now finally getting back to losing it again. But there’s still some persistent inflammation going on with my neck now, and I’ve been looking for answers.

I refuse to be one of those people who find themselves on tons of medications and having to have multiple surgeries. I’ve been on a mission to figure out what I need to do to stop this path I’m on.

When I found Tracy Harrison’s Core 101 Semester on Functional Medicine Concepts for Health Coaches, I knew it was just what I had been searching for. I’m studying these concepts in an effort to heal myself, and be able to help others feel just a little better themselves.

Make no mistake – I’m no doctor, and I’m not learning how to be one. I’m learning about how the body’s systems work together, and how finding the right nutrient balance for your own body can lead to incredible transformation. You do the work, I just help you figure out what to do.

What would it feel like for you to be able to get rid of those nagging headaches, heartburn, constipation, insomnia and joint pain? To have more energy, move better, and have clearer thinking?

What would you be willing to do to feel amazing? What if I told you that you might not even know you’re not feeling your best, and that you could feel so much better? You have nothing to lose except your time. Let me help you try.

For my studies, I need to get some practice on performing Health Histories and serving more people. If you’re interested in finding out more about how I can help, I’d love to talk to you. For a limited time I’m offering Health History appointments for FREE ($47 value).

Click here to schedule a time to chat with me for a bit on how I can help you. Please take action on this today, so you can be on your way to feeling amazing as soon as possible!
