Reiki 

Reiki is a Japanese hands-on energy technique that is used for stress and anxiety reduction and relaxation. It promotes the body’s natural ability to self-heal and provides a sense of well-being, relaxation, and peace in the mind, body and spirit.

We are all made of energy and thought it’s a hard concept to grasp, energy is all around us and we feel it every day. Electricity is a form of energy. 

The word “rei” means “Universal, Spiritually guided, or Wisdom of the divine.” It’s the same energy that originally sparks and sets the miracle of life into motion.

“Ki” means “vial energy or life force.” “Ki” is the vital life force energy that flows throughout all living beings, sustaining health and vitality.

How Does Reiki Work?

The Rei, or universal life force part of the energy, assesses where you have blocked energy and then directs the healing energy to the block that needs it the most. The Reiki energy then works with the negative thoughts and feelings that are blocking your natural flow of Ki and helps the negative energy break and fall away.

Reiki flows to where it’s needed without direction. Many people describe the effects of Reiki sessions as a wonderful sense of peace and well-being
